In Loving Memory of Larry Don Lemmond Jr. November 28, 1969 – February 18, 2026

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Larry Don Lemmond Jr., who was born on November 28, 1969, in Oak Cliff, Texas, and entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Larry was welcomed into this world by his loving parents, Larry Don Lemmond Sr. and Gracie Lemmond. From the very beginning, his life was rooted in family — a foundation that would remain the center of his world for all his days.

Larry was a proud graduate of Kimball High School. More than any title or accomplishment, however, he carried his greatest honor in the way he loved others. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Rebecca Covarrubio, with whom he shared over a decade of love, laughter, and unwavering friendship. Becky was not only his wife but his very best friend — his partner in all things and the love of his life.

He was a proud and caring stepfather to Raymond (Nida) Pecina, Andrew (Secilly) Pecina, and Sabrina (Roberto) Castillo. Larry embraced his role wholeheartedly, loving each of them as his own and always standing ready to guide, support, and protect.

His grandchildren — Andrew M. Pecina Jr., Anastasia F. Pecina, Aiden M. Pecina, Adam L. Pecina, Raymond J. Pecina Jr., and Adrian Castillo — were the light of his life. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with them. Whether sharing laughter, stories, or simple everyday moments, Larry treasured each second. His love for them was steady, fierce, and unconditional.

Larry was a protector — strong, dependable, and always present. If someone he loved called, he answered. If they needed him, he showed up. He was the kind of man who made sure his family felt safe, supported, and cherished. His strength was matched by his fun-loving spirit. He enjoyed life, loved deeply, and never missed an opportunity to remind those around him how much they meant to him.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that Larry’s love does not end here. We trust that he now rests peacefully in the arms of the Lord, reunited with everlasting peace, and that one day we will see him again. As Scripture reminds us, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Larry leaves behind a legacy of devotion, laughter, loyalty, and unconditional love. He will be missed more than words can say and remembered every day in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

The family will hold a private memorial service honoring Larry’s life.

Forever loved. Forever remembered.
