Douglas G. Stewart

Douglas Gene Stewart, 72, of North Richland Hills passed away October 1, 2026. He was born in Van, Texas on October 17, 1953 to Billy and Nancy Stewart.

Doug was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his family and spending time with them. He dedicated his life to the military serving with the Air Force. Once he retired from the Air Force, he later worked for Coca-Cola.

Doug acquired many military honors and accommodations during his time in the Air Force. His favorite hobby was bowling where he built friendships and mastered his bowling game. He was married to Sharon Stewart for 24 years and cherished the role of husband and father throughout his life.

Survived by his wife, Sharon Stewart; his children, Deana Muehlstedt and husband, Jim, Bryan Stewart, and Julie Dickerson and husband, Kyle; stepsons, Brian Tatum and Daniel Dollar, 10 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren; sister, Sue Burton and husband, Keith; and many more family and friends.
